Bible Studies

Do you want to know more about the basics of Christianity or grow in knowledge of the scripture?

Studying the Bible is the most important thing we can do together as a church. These Bible studies are also a great way to get to know each other and to grow in our faith. This group meets on Thursday nights at 6:30pm for a meal that is provided. The bible study begins at 7:00pm and finishes at approximately 8:30pm. All are welcome to this friendly and informal study, regardless of your level of knowledge there is something for everyone.

Bible Reading Group

This group meets at the Church on a fortnightly basis to enjoy a time of friendship centered around reading the Bible. The group meets every second Wednesday at 10:30am and is always happy to welcome new faces.

Kids 4 Christ

All children from 4 years of age and up are invited to join this group. Offered each Sunday at 10am, the children will be excused from the main service to go to their own exciting program. They rejoin the service in time for communion.

Prayer is something that is vital to a Christian’s walk with God. Our Church has several prayer ministries that are open for all to be involved in. If you would like to attend a prayer meeting you would be most welcome at 9:30am on Sunday mornings in the Church. If you would like us to be praying for you please attend a service and fill out a prayer request card or phone or email the Church office during the week.

Men’s & Women’s Groups

There is a Men’s group and a Women’s group who meet on a monthly basis, either in a local home or eatery. They are excellent opportunities for either men or women to come together and discuss various topical issues. All are more than welcome to attend their respective groups of course! If you have any questions about who God is, the Christian faith or anything like it, there will be people at those groups who would be more than willing to help answer or think through your questions.

Senior Citizens

A group of people meet at the Church at 1:30pm on the second Friday of each month for a lively afternoon of fun, laughter and fellowship. This includes afternoon tea with plenty of goodies to eat from the kitchens of our best cooks.

Outreach Foodbank

We care for the poor in our community through regular donations. Food and toiletries are administered to those most in need, and those who are struggling to meet the basics are welcome in Jesus’ name.

Our library is located in the St Thomas building Southern Cross room and has numerous resources available for loan. Please make use of this excellent facility to grow in your understanding of the Christian life.
