Studying the Bible is the most important we can do together as a church. These small groups are also a great way to get to know each other and to grow in our faith. These groups meet on various nights of the week, offering study programs to suit a wide range of interests from Bible study, to parenting issues, to practical tips on how to live as people of God. Invite yourself along to a group that suits your needs.
Kids 4 Christ
All children from 4 years of age and upwards are invited to join this group. Offered each Sunday at 10am, the children will be excused from the main service go to their own exciting program. They rejoin the service in time for communion. This ministry is covered by our child protection policy.
Men & Women’s Groups
There is a Men’s group and a Women’s group who meet on a monthly basis, either in a local home or eatery. They are excellent opportunities for either men or women to come together and discuss various topical issues. All are more than welcome to attend their respective groups of course! If you have any questions about who God is, the Christian faith or anything like it, there will be men or women at those groups who would be more than willing to help answer or think through your questions.
A group of people meet at the Church at 1:30pm on the second Friday of each month for a lively afternoon of fun, laughter and fellowship. This includes afternoon tea with plenty of goodies to eat from the kitchens of our best cooks.
We care for the poor in our community through regular donations. Food and toiletries are administered to those most in need, and those who are struggling to meet the basics are welcome in Jesus name.
Our library is located in the St Thomas building Southern Cross room and has numerous resources available for loan. Please make use of this excellent facility to grow in your understanding of the Christian life. An online search of our collection will soon be available.
If you require specific prayer whether for an issue or illness this can be arranged. Please contact the office about such requests or attend a healing service. Notices can be made for people to pray for you during the week.
